Snežana Paranosić

Snežana Paranosić is an art teacher at the Fourth Grammar School in Belgrade, with the title of pedagogical adviser. She also teaches Art and Design and Civic Education. She heads the extracurricular programme Entrepreneurship in Secondary School and the graphic design club. She has more than 20 years of experience in a family-run design and art agency.

She is one of the founders of the Association of Business Women of Serbia. As manager of many EU-backed projects she supported women entrepreneurs and encouraged cooperation among women entrepreneurs in the Western Balkans. Her work also includes engagement with the UN on implementing the Beijing +5 process, with a focus on the economic status of women. She has extensive experience in developing and delivering support programmes for small and medium-sized enterprises, business incubators and business education, which she passes on to her pupils. Since 2015 she has founded a large number of student companies with her pupils, and several hundred pupils have gone through her programmes.

The results of her work came to the fore in 2023, when the Entrepreneurship in Secondary School team of the Fourth Grammar School in Belgrade, under her leadership, won the prestigious European award The Entrepreneurial School Awards in Istanbul. She is the author and leader of projects that reach beyond the classroom, encouraging peer education, interpersonal skills and social responsibility. Some of these projects are held in the database of the Institute for the Improvement of Education.

Her pupils achieve notable results at national and international competitions and win awards in art, entrepreneurship and innovation. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Applied Painting from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade.
