About the event

From an idea to
a national stage

6–7 November 2026 · Sava Centar — atrium and amphitheatre, Belgrade · Free admission

Vukobratović Robotics Days began as a place where the legacy of Miomir Vukobratović meets the generation building the region’s technological future.

The mission of the event

The event connects education, robotics, young talent and industry through programmes that show technology can have a purpose and social value.

Open access

Robotics, AI and STEM should be within reach of children, students, parents and schools, without the feeling that technology is reserved for a chosen few.

Young talent

Competitions, workshops and pitch formats help young people show what they know, build confidence and meet mentors and industry.

A regional scene

Vukobratović Robotics Days is building a meeting point for schools, educators, institutions, companies and young teams from the wider technology community.

The legacy of Miomir Vukobratović

Miomir Vukobratović · 1931–2012

Miomir Vukobratović was one of Serbia’s most important scientists in robotics, known for work that shaped humanoid robotics and the theory of locomotion.

The event carries his name as a bridge between that scientific legacy and the new generations only now entering the world of robotics, programming and technology projects.

The event today

Today’s programme rests on five pillars: competitions, workshops, panels, demo zones and partnerships. This is only an outline; details and timings are on the Programme page.

The beginning and proof of concept

The first edition of Vukobratović Robotics Days laid the foundations: a competition format, a partnership with the academic community and a clear need for an event that brings robotics closer to children and young people. The Technical Faculties Building in Belgrade welcomed 5,000 visitors and 500 competitors in November 2023.
