Anita Milovanović

Anita Milovanović is an experienced technology leader with a decade of experience in the IT sector and in financial innovation. As Executive Director of ANAX3, she plays a key role in advancing the use of blockchain and artificial intelligence technologies across a range of sectors, including a multi-year collaboration with global organisations such as Input Output Global. Anita graduated from the Central European University in Vienna with a Master of Business Administration in Global Executive Management (Executive MBA), alongside a master’s degree in global executive management from New York University (NYU).

She is the founder of the educational initiative AI Serbia (AISE), which has trained more than 800 people. During her career, Anita has also served as Senior Adviser on Artificial Intelligence at the United Nations Development Programme in Serbia (UNDP). She is a member of the Working Group of the Government of the Republic of Serbia which, in 2023, proposed the Ethical Guidelines for the Development, Application and Use of Trustworthy and Responsible Artificial Intelligence in the Republic of Serbia. She has mentored more than 200 startups at the early and growth stages, and is proudest of her mentoring in the Women Entrepreneurship for Africa (WE4A) programme, supported by the European Union, the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS), GIZ and the Swiss Association for Entrepreneurship in Emerging Markets (SAFEEM).

She firmly believes in a future in which artificial intelligence and blockchain play a transformative role in education, improving global access to high-quality education by creating the right opportunities and innovations. Applied ethically in this way, technology could empower learners and educators to create in an environmentally responsible way, respecting every person as a unique individual.
