Simona Žikić

Simona Žikić is a strategic-communications consultant with eighteen years of experience in applied communication, including public relations, marketing and new technologies. Her research and professional work focus on applied communication as well as on the meta level of communication, through leadership as an integrative process of contemporary communities.

She completed her bachelor's, master's and doctoral studies in communications in Belgrade. Alongside her formal education she has trained further in internal and external communications in Serbia and abroad, gaining expertise as a trainer and adviser in multinational companies.

She is the author of several scientific papers and edited volumes, as well as handbooks on business communication, strategic planning, public relations, leadership and the impact of technology on society. Simona has led numerous projects, both scientific and applied, and has launched a large number of humanitarian campaigns in which she remains actively involved today.

At the Faculty of Media and Communications she is Vice-Dean and Professor of Communications, where she also heads the PR and marketing team. She is also a research associate at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory, University of Belgrade, within the Digital Society Lab. She leads communications for the Youth with Disabilities Forum, and delivers courses and training in applied communications within the Link Group programme.
